P-Key for JAF Activated

What is P-Key?

P-Key is the new smart card based protection used for JAF. All the newer updates will be available only for P-Key users! It also can be used without JAF for flashing BB5 phones via USB cable and use Twister /UFS/ Tornado as a communication interface.

What has P-Key in common with JAFWM?

NOTHING. P-Key is a dongle protection for 2 different products from JAF team: jaf and jafwm. It is also IMPOSSIBLE to upgrade JAFWM to P-KEY for JAF or vice versa.

Do I really need to buy P-Key for my JAF box?

We do not force anyone to buy it, however, we expect that the users understand that the developers have to improve JAF protection. So, if you also want to use your JAF with the higher versions than 1.95 beta, you need to purchase P-Key; if you are happy with your JAF box and all software versions released until version 1.95 beta 1, than you don't need to buy the dongle.
