Ultimate Tools and Solutions for Remote Phone Servicing
As we mentioned before, many developers have eased limitations for phone servicing products and prepared new solutions for online servicing.
Octoplus Team have just released 6-month and 1-year digital licenses that don`t require dongles or boxes - best for those of you willing to try Octoplus functionality or seeking for immediate service solutions.
Chimera Tool, Infinity, Uni-Android Tool, Easy Firmware have added +2 free months of use for their clients.
Also, you don`t need to meet your clients face to face or even hold the phone to remove FRP, repair IMEI, decode, and write firmware. Just instruct your customers and prepare your and their PCs according to this short tutorial. In case if your client isn`t able to do his part of the procedure, you can do it all by yourself. To prepare your customer’s PC, you need to obtain remote access to it using any of these services: Team Viewer, AnyDesk, Amyy. The customer will only be required to download the software, launch it, and then provide the code and password for remote access. That`s it!
We often use such software while helping our clients to troubleshoot problems related to installation or upgrading of our products.
Everyday Work and Delivery
You have installed all the latest software and upgraded your toolkit, but what if the phone can’t be serviced remotely? Thanks to our loyal customers, we have collected some useful pieces of advice. We hope you will find the option that fits you the most.
Working behind closed doors
You visit your workshop on certain days of the week. Customers contact you via phone and leave their devices at your doors. They can leave it in a large container or hand over through a small window. After the job is done, they will be able to take them back there as well.
Working from home
You need to have all the required equipment at your home. Clients can contact you via phone, social media, or messengers. If you prefer not to leave your home, it`s better to use post services or delivery personnel (specialized services like Uber or anyone willing to deliver the phones using a car or motorcycle). If you own a car and don`t mind driving to your client`s home, you can do it all yourself for additional pay.
Keep Working Area Protected
Remember about distancing – if several workers share the same premises, it`s better to work in shifts. You won`t contact directly with each other and keep your workshop open for a longer time (if it`s permitted). Use disposable gloves and masks. Create a protective screen to divide your working place. Don`t forget to disinfect the phone before and after servicing. Keep your working area properly ventilated and clean.
Offer contact-free payment services or online payments like PayPal to avoid contact with cash.
Disinfect the phone correctly
- Power off and unplug the device before disinfection.
- Always use lint-free wipes or microfiber cloth (paper towels are too abrasive).
- Only alcohol-based solution of 70% ethanol or isopropyl alcohol is good. Directly applied pure alcohol may damage the phone`s display (especially oleophobic and hydrophobic coatings).
Important Tip: Always make sure all your clients know you are working. Use social media, WhatsApp chats, or information boards on your doors to keep your clients informed. Don`t forget to treat the phones with sanitizers before and after the servicing.
Additional Equipment You Really Need
